Cradles / bunks
Adjust and tension belts or chains to manufacturer specifications to ensure smooth, consistent operation.
Inspect and test motors including function check, basic electrical review, and operational performance under load.
Inspect, lubricate, and verify cable condition (including routing and seating on pulleys) to reduce wear and help prevent premature failure.
Clean and inspect motor covers to prevent corrosion, improve ventilation, and protect internal components from salt, spray, and debris.
Inspect the condition and positioning of guide poles to ensure proper alignment and safe centering during loading.
Inspect zinc anodes for wear and proper placement, and recommend replacement when needed.
Inspect the condition of bunks for structural integrity, fastener security, and surface wear that could affect hull contact.
Confirm the boat is properly seated on the lift with balanced support and correct contact points.
Verify bunk alignment to the vessel to ensure the bunks match the hull shape and cradle the boat correctly, minimizing stress points and shifting.
Perform a full system inspection on mechanical and moving components.
